टिनप्लेट के डिब्बों की उत्पादन प्रक्रिया और गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण

जनवरी 02, 2025

Cans in the beverage and food industry are in high demand, more so due to their strong and protective nature. When it comes to packaging, tinplate is the best suited material since it can withstand a lot of rough usage and is recyclable. So here at Hongxu Packaging, we put in a lot of effort when selecting our packaging material and make sure that our products are packaged using tinplate which is produced in a systematic manner involving many steps like material selection, final packaging, quality control of the product, and efficient management.

Three Stage Production of Tinplate Cans

1. सामग्री चयन

Tinplate cans are coated with a thin layer of tin which sells protect the steel from rusting, at Hongxu Packaging, we ensure that we only get our material from the best suppliers so that the end product has more value and has a longer warranty.

2. काटना और आकार देना

After we have acquired the best steel, we use laser cutting to divide it into circles which are then deep drawn into tubes. Deep drawing uses hydraulic force thus requires a lot of precision while being done since tubes of different sizes are required.

3. Welding and Sealing

After shaping, the edges of the can are inner welded, this stage is critical since it helps ensure the vacuum integrity of the cans considering the internal stresses the packagings may encounter during transportation. Leak tight seals that prevent contamination are critical and hence at Hongxu Packaging, welding is taken to the next level to ensure sufficient seal strength.

4. Printing and Coating

For aesthetic appeal and for branding purposes, product cans made of tinplate are usually printed with logos, designs and other informative marketing materials. The printing technology equipment that Hongxu Packaging has ensures that the images are clean, sharp and bright and movement of the cans during storage and transport does not compromise the quality of the images. Moreover, an internal coating on the cans is also done to shield the content from corrosive elements making the product safe.

5. Forming the Bottom and Lid

Once the can body has been made, the bottom and the lid are manufactured independently. These are then shaped and affixed onto the body of the can so that they fit snugly into the can. In most cases, the bottom end is made with the help of a stamping process while the lid is placed on top and sealed using the double seam technique which guarantees an airtight lock

6. अंतिम असेंबली और पैकेजिंग

Once the cans have been completely formed, they are inspected for any faults or damages. Cans are subsequently filled with a product, be it food, beverages, or chemicals. Once filled, they are closed with the lids and are subjected to a final check before being packed and sent to the clients.

Quality Control Measures at Hongxu Packaging

For Hongxu Packaging, it is important to maintain quality control throughout the production process. We adopt different processes to inspect every tinplate can before it leaves the facility:

1. Raw Materials Inspection

Prior to the start of any kind of production activity, all the tinplates delivered are inspected for quality, thickness and consistency. The ones that do not meet our standards are not allowed to be used in the production process.

2. In-Process Inspections

During the production of tinplate cans, several checks are done to the shaping, welding and sealing processes to ensure that they are all accurate. This also includes checking of the uniformity of the can wall and dimensions.

3. Final Product Evaluation

Once all the components of the cans have been attached, the following final tests are performed; leak tests, and pressure tests, alongside visual inspections for any potentially damaged seals, dents or scratches. There are also temperature tests done on the cans to ensure that they conform to the required durability specifications.
